EDUCATION AND STUDIES I studied medicine in Russia and Germany, where I specialized in the field of neurology. I have been involved in the Centre of Neuroscience at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn since attaining my doctorate. Amongst others, I have worked with Prof Christian E. Elger and Prof Jürgen Bauer on epilepsy for four years.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE From 2001 until 2006, I worked as a senior physician with the chief consultant Dieter Pöhlau M.D. at the Kamillus Klinik in Asbach. The Kamillus Klinik, one of the first of its kind in Germany, is specialized in the dedicated treatment of multiple sclerosis patients using innovative methods.

During my time there I took care of patients with strokes, diversified neurological disorders and in particular Parkinson’s patients.

For neurological diagnostics I am trained in EEG, EMG, ENG, evoked potentials, Doppler/ Duplex sonography of extra-cranial vessels, liquor diagnostics and CCT- and spine tomography. My special interest thereby lies in the treatment of patients with Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, spinal pain and epilepsy.

In June 2006 I entered into a partnership with Heinrich-Heine-Universität in Düsseldorf and the Herz-Jesu-Hospital of Münster-Hiltrup performing “outpatient video-supported therapy” of patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease. Moreover, from 2006 until 2008 I gained extensive experience on spinal pain and minimal invasive treatment in an orthopaedic and neurological practice-clinic in Bonn, Germany, using the most modern technology in the field (e.g. Disc Nucleoplasty).

In 2008 I opened my own private clinic for neurology in Bonn, Germany, where I specialize in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, pain treatment and other neurological disorders. In addition, I am involved in the German Medical Centre in Dubai as a visiting-doctor.

I am a member of the German section for neurology, the German section for clinical neurophysiology and quality development in neurology and psychiatry.
